Tianjin airport economic zone

Tianjin airport economic zone was established in October 2002. it is located in Tianjin airport logistics processing zone on the northeast side of Binhai international airport, with a planned area of 42 square kilometers. it is the nearest economic functional zone to the urban area of Binhai new area and a highly open export-oriented economic zone.

 In may 2005, it passed the national examination and approval and closed its operations, making it the country's first airport bonded zone, focusing on the development of bonded processing manufacturing and modern logistics industry.
